My Top 4 Essential Kitchen Appliances That I Can’t Live Without

**For me, I am in the kitchen a good chunk of the day when I am actually home. I love every second of it, so it just makes it that much more enjoyable when I can use awesome appliances to make life a bit easier and to really fuel those creative senses when trying new things! When we first moved into our home we pretty much started off with close to nothing in the kitchen. We had the bare minimum, and I didn’t cook all that much. After realizing how unhealthy take-out and grilled cheese sandwiches could be, I opted to get cooking. With many months of practice, I started to try new things and really develop a strong passion for being in the kitchen. After being able to master a few solid recipes, I decided it was time to step up my game with some sweet kitchen gadgets. This brings me to appliance # 1……. the Ninja Blender. 

Appliance #1: Ninja Professional Blender

*I totally love this blender and use it just about every single day. Whether I am using it for my morning smoothie/shake or making a vegetable puree for a recipe…..this blender gets the job done! It’s definitely strong and can handle whatever you throw its way. Before purchasing my food processor, I only used this to puree and mix ingredients. 

Appliance #2: KitchenAid Mixer & Attachments (Spiralizer, Pasta Attachment, Ice Cream Mixer)

*I never understood why this appliance was considered “necessary” in so many kitchens until I got one for myself. This is something I use at least once a week since I am constantly baking or whipping something sweet up. This machine does all of the legwork for you and totally eliminates the annoying strain of having to whip something into perfection for minutes on end. The attachments are an added bonus to its everyday value. Keep this mixer on your counter for easy access throughout the week (it’s heavy and can be difficult to move each time). 

Appliance #3: Slow Cooker

*I use the slow cooker crock pot every single week to make my dog’s food! This is such a versatile appliance that makes cooking dinner effortless! Throw everything into a pot and let it be for hours until you are home from work and ready to enjoy… what could be easier? Enough said. 

Appliance #4: Cuisinart Food Processor: 14 cup

*Okay… the food processor, I must say I toyed with the idea of purchasing one for about two years before I actually bought it. I did a ton of research and made sure that I was purchasing the “right” one that fit my cooking needs. I decided to go all out and purchase the largest one (14 cup capacity). It certainly has met my expectations and then some, as I have used it about 10 times and have only had for a few weeks. It’s not too loud and is easy to clean which is also a plus!
