**One part of my meal planning prep is easy overnight oats. You can prep them days in advance and have them ready to go whenever needed! Make a variety of flavors and have them ready to grab when you head out the door in the morning. I like to eat mine cold, but I have friends who enjoy it warm too… works both ways! **Add more milk if you prefer it creamier in texture.
Ingredients:
-
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup non-dairy milk
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1/2 of banana (sliced)
- 1 tablespoon mini dark choc. chips
- 1/2 tablespoon chia seeds **optional
- a drizzle of honey (if you’d like added sweetness)
- 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts or sliced almonds **optional
- cinnamon (a sprinkle or 2)
Directions:
- In a mason jar, add the oats in first and then all other ingredients except for the non-dairy milk.
- Put the cap on and shake it quickly and then add the milk and shake again until well combined.
- Put in the refrigerator overnight and enjoy in the morning! ***Served cold or warmed in the microwave.
