Workout from HOME!

Cold days like today make it extra difficult to get out of the house to get my workout in, which is why I love working out from home just to switch things up from time to time. There are so many different videos that are online and are totally FREE. You don’t even need a gym membership these days to get your workouts in. Typically, I will play the videos from my TV (I have a smart TV that has YouTube on it) or I will just play it from my phone and follow along. Make it fun with an awesome music playlist to get you motivated to work it!

At home, I have a few pieces of equipment that I have found totally beneficial when working out from home. Check out my blog post here about what you need to get your at-home workout started today!


  • *Tip # 1: Designate a place in your house where you have the space to move around a bit. For me, it is in the basement where we have a little extra room to spread out. I like to keep all of my equipment in the same spot and whenever I need to work out from home, I know everything is ready to go (no wasted time).

  • *Tip #2: Write down a workout routine (or a few of them) so that you have them on hand if you can’t remember what to do next within the moment. If you are using videos, write down which videos you will use and how long they are so you know how much time you have left and what else you will need to focus on.
